HADDONFIELD, N.J. – The Atlantic East Conference announced their weekly awards on Monday afternoon, and Neumann University's
Emily DuPont was named the Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
DuPont scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the Knights opened the season by defeating Penn State Brandywine 60-47. She went 8-for-8 from the free throw line and added four blocks in the win. The fifth year has now been honored in the weekly awards a total of 14 times over her career. This is her second Defensive Player of the Week selection.
The women's basketball team will make their 2025-26 home debut on Wednesday when they host Ursinus College in a non-conference game at 7:00 PM.
