GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team opened its fall schedule, falling at Arcadia University 5-2 on Friday afternoon.
Arcadia won the double point.
Lyndsie Crawford and Breonna Foster battled at second doubles but fell in a tiebreaker 7-6 (8-6).
The Knights tallied their two points at second and third singles. In her first match as a Knight, Busayo Lawal won her second singles match 6-1, 6-3.
Casey McGee picked up a 6-1, 7-6 (7-2) win at third singles.
Neumann (0-1) will host Penn State Brandywine next Saturday in its home opener. The dual match with the men is schedule to get underway at 1:00 PM.
