ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team drops a 7-0 decision to Penn State Abington on a Thursday afternoon.
In doubles action, the duo of
Lyndsie Crawford and Shaina Duchard battled but dropped the match 7-5.
On the singles side, Busayo Lawal dropped the first set 6-4, but came back to win the second set 6-2, before falling in the tiebreaker 10-6. After dropping her first set 6-0 at third singles,
Jane Gorman came back in set two and took it to a tiebreaker, but fell 7-6 (9-7).
Neumann (0-4) will host Rowan College of Gloucester County next Thursday beginning at 5:30 PM.
