GREENWOOD, Ind. – College Sports Communicators(CSC) announced their 2025 selections for their Tennis Academic All-District teams on Tuesday afternoon and five Neumann University athletes were among the picks. On the Women's side,
Kayleigh DellaVecchio and
Alura Troilo were tapped while
Logan Gorbitz,
Joe Troilo,
Jason Petrin, and
Anthony Carpinella earned spots on the Men's side.
DellaVecchio earns her second consecutive CSC Academic All-District award. She accrued a total of six wins between singles and doubles.
Alura Troilo had six wins this season as a singles competitor and added two more in doubles. She also adds a second CSC Academic All-District selection to her resume.
Gorbitz was 1-0 in singles play and was a key contributor on the doubles side with an 8-2 record, including 3-1 in conference play. This is his second CSC Academic All-District award.
Joe Troilo picks up his third CSC Academic All-District award after a season in which he was named an Atlantic East Conference All-conference first teamer in singles.
Petrin was named to the Atlantic East all-conference second team in both singles and doubles. He earns his second CSC Academic All-District award.
Carpinella was 6-4 in singles play and 5-4 in doubles. On April 21
st, he was named to the Atlantic East weekly Honor Roll. This is his second CSC Academic All-District honor after winning it in 2023.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
