ASTON, Pa. – Two Neumann University student-athletes were named Atlantic East Conference players of the week for the week ending May 1
st.
Brylin Adams was named the women's lacrosse offensive player of the week, while
Drew Conlon was named the men's lacrosse offense player of the week.
Adams saved her best game of the season for when it mattered most, scoring eight goals and adding three assists in a resounding 22-9 win over Immaculata on Wednesday. With the win, the Knights clinched home field advantage in the opening round of the playoffs as the third seed.
Conlon helped the Knights secure the fourth seed in the conference playoffs by scoring three goals and adding four assists in a 22-7 rout of Immaculata on Wednesday afternoon. The senior attacker is now the program's all-time points leader with 220 in his career, breaking a record that stood for over 20 years. He leads the team this season in goals (47), assists (36) and points (83).
Both lacrosse teams will play at Marymount University in the Atlantic East Conference semifinals this Wednesday, May 4
th. The women's team will take on the Saints at 4:00 PM, while the men's game will start at 7:00 PM.
