Elgin Named to ECAC Baseball South Region Team

CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Neumann University baseball player, Buddy Elgin gains additional recognition as he was named to the 2013 ECAC Division III Baseball South Al-Star Team, announced Friday afternoon.

Elgin was also selected to the d3baseball.com All Mid-Atlantic Region Team and to the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) First Team.

As a sophomore, Elgin played second base, shortstop and third base. In 45 games, he batted .351 with 59 hits and 12 doubles.

Neumann was the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Runner-Up and received a bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Knights finished the season 30-15.
