ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team received the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) D3-3 Award, for the spring 2013 season, announced on Tuesday.
Recipients of the CSAC 3-D Award honors the teams from each sport that best exemplified the NCAA Division-III principles of "Discover, Develop, Dedicate."
The 3-D Award was developed prior to the 2011 academic year by the CSAC's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Following each conference contests, participating teams were asked to evaluate their opponents based on the three aforementioned Division-III principles, giving a rating of 1-10 in each "D" category.
Neumann went 7-8 overall this season and 4-3 in CSAC action. The Knights fell to Marywood in the conference semifinals.
