ASTON, Pa. – Two members of the Neumann University baseball team were named to the 2013 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic All-Region Team. Matt Spillman was named to the second team while Tyler Drinkard earned third team honors.

Spillman earned second team honors. He went 8-2 on the mound this season with an ERA of 2.26. In 13 appearances, the senior pitched 75.2 innings and struck out a team high 56. Spillman was also named to the d3baseball.com Mid-Atlantic All-Region second team and Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) second team.

Drinkard started all 45 contests this season. He batted .352 with 57 hits, 14 doubles and four triples. He scored 36 runs and knocked in 34. He committed just three errors at first base and had a .992 fielding percentage.

Neumann was the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Runner-Up and received a bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Knights finished the season 30-15.
